Oysters, Dunes, and More Beach Time

  1. Lost my comment, but in essence it said thank you for sharing your time in Pacific City. I was lucky to hit it on a weekend so Jack and I spent a whole day watching the dory boats go out and come flying back up on the sand. And, yes, I laughed at the face plants, too, so you’re not alone! Great memories.

    1. There are two types of people in this world: those who find humor is someone falling down, and those who don’t. America’s Funniest Videos is a testament to the fact that falling down can be funny! Glad to see you’re in the same camp as me. 😉 Pacific City is great – we hope to spend more time there on a return trip sometime.

  2. When I was a kid my Dad made us go on the Cape Lookout hike. It was something like 10 miles long with sheer cliffs that I still have nightmares about. 🙂 Love your pictures.

    1. Thanks! Yep, that hike is about 10 miles long if you do it from the state park so you remember it well. I was kind of disappointed about missing it, but your comment now makes me feel better about it – I hate hiking on trails with cliffs, especially with dogs that are usually yanking me along!

  3. Glad to see you did enjoy the oysters after all. I have an oyster knife somewhere in the RV but haven’t had much opportunity to pull it out. Now, about the laughing at kids face planting in the sand – I’d be laughing too.
